The London-based charity YoungMinds has contributed to a handbook that offers a collection of the difficulties experienced by young people and their families.
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Today guide, written by experts, is aimed at frontline workers in health, education and social services.
It covers a range of topics such as positive parenting, mental health in schools, the needs of young offenders, eating disorders, self- harm and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
