Dear Colleague,
There's more film this month from our conference - short inspiring stories of great integrated projects and engaging speakers.  We hope to be including more film in the future - do take our poll and let us know if  that format works for you.
Many people use 'home remedies' on their children - everything ranging from honey and lemon for a sore throat to complementary therapies.  Few doctors and nurses ask about these choices.   A study led by Professor Nicky Robinson of Thames Valley University has been asking parents what they do - and healthcare professionals how they perceive these choices.  Discover more about the study and how you can join in.
Look out next month for the first chapter from our long awaited Mental Health Guidelines, which will cover nutrition.  Other chapters will follow every one to two weeks.

Traditional medicine and children
In multiethnic areas of north west London up to 90% of parents questioned in a study said they used traditional medicine when their children are sick.
Now the research is on a new website.  Study lead Professor Nicky Robinson hopes the information will lead to a more open conversation between parents and healthcare practitioners - as well as leading the way to further research into how people make choices and why.
Read the article and take the survey.
