Dear Colleague,
This month we focus on education and good practice.
We hear about the Jex Blake School's clinical essentials for complementary therapists - enter our competition to win a free place. We launch the first of our many integrated maps to help you find examples of good practice - and discover if you can work with projects, or borrow their ideas.
Our snapshot of higher education accredited courses in complementary healthcare is a useful place to start if you're considering long-term training.  For those looking for briefer updating, upcoming events include a look at complementary approaches in mental health.

I want one like that
Have you seen a good project and wondered if  you could do the same?  Beginning with our integrated award winners from the past two years, we're creating a map of best practice, highlighting how projects have survived and thrived and where they can give advice and support to others.
We'll be expanding our map over the next couple of months and making it more searchable.

Bodyworkers: win a course in clinical basics at the Jex Blake School
Sophie Gooley is a reflexologist and massage therapist who set up the complementary service at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and now works for the Royal Free.  She tells us that complementary practitioners often lack the confidence and clinical essentials to work in hospital settings. The Jex Blake School has been founded to fill that gap.  Find out how you can win a place on their September course.
