Noting that all complementary practitioners who work with patients should be subject to effective regulation,  this paper suggests that a single, publically available, up-to-date register should be at the heart of regulation.

This paper was the foundation of the work which eventually led to the creation of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.
