A Federal Approach to Professionally-led Voluntary Regulation for Complementary Healthcare
In 2005 the Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health commissioned a report by Professor Julie Stone which examined three options for the regulation of complementary healthcare. This report resulted in a consultation exercise, which showed clear support for a federal system of regulation ie. a single regulator for complementary healthcare rather than a series of single-therapy regulators.
This document is the final report of the Federal Working Group which worked towards the creation of such a federal body. The new Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council will launch in the summer of 2008.
