Integrated health by definition touches on almost every part of our lives.  Many charities, healthcare bodies, environmental and community groups touch on integration as a part of their work. 

We have a growing list here of many bodies who are deeply involved in questions of health and society.  We hope that in looking through these links you will find new ideas, and get a sense of the breadth of the integrated health agenda.  However by linking to an organisation we do not imply that we necessarily share their views or endorse their product.

  • Bravewell Collaborative

    A group of US healthcare philanthropists who have been leading the way with a vision of integrative healthcare for the past 10 years. Their many large, practical projects have shown how the integrated approach can be fully realised in practice.

  • Buteyko Breathing Association

    The Buteyko Breathing Association is a non-profit making organisation committed to improving the health of asthmatics and those with other breathing related problems.

  • Chartered Society of Physiotherapists

    The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) is the professional, educational and trade union body for the UK's 47,000 chartered physiotherapists, physiotherapy students and assistants.

  • Chinese National Healthy Living Centre

    An organisation that aims to promote healthy living, and to provide access to health services, for the Chinese community in the UK.

  • Council for Healthcare Regulatory Excellence

    CHRE promotes best practice and consistency in the regulation of healthcare professionals. It is a statutory overarching body, separate from government.

  • Cultivations

    Cultivations concentrates on promoting, advising and informing people about the therapeutic and educational benefits of working with nature. They encourage people to become involved in any form of horticultural, environmental or conservation activity to help enhance, improve and increase their sense of personal awareness, health and well being.

    Magazine website exploring life with inhaled, contact or food allergy/intolerance.

  • General Chiropractic Council

    The body established by parliament to regulate, develop and promote the chiropractic profession.

  • General Medical Council

    The General Medical Council (GMC) registers doctors to practise medicine in the UK.

  • General Osteopathic Council

    Provides regulation for the profession of osteopathy.
