Complementary healthcare: a guide
Almost six million people use complementary therapies in the UK each year. This online guide offers basic information about complementary therapies, what they are used for and resources to help find a properly trained and qualified practitioners of each one.
It also looks at some of the challenges when using complementary therapies. The majority of complementary practitioners are still unregulated although we are supporting many to move towards voluntary self-regulation. In the guide we list a series of questions to ask when exploring the various therapies.
