Fatigue management service for cancer patients
A group helping cancer patients cope with loss of energy.
In 1998 Karen Livingstone, a physiotherapist was receiving many referral of patients who were weak after cancer treatment. She realised that the same people were often seeing a string of other professionals at separate appointments with the same problem.
She created a four week course for groups of patients with fatigue offering an integrated set of solutions, which include reflexology, aromatherapy, eating healthily and working through psychological issues.
