Applications are invited for a graduate research assistant to work on a new two year study of 'a trial of healing therapy in a hospital gastroenterology clinic', research collaboration between Freshwinds Charity and the dept of primary care, university of Birmingham.
The post is funded by the Big Lottery Research programme and based at Freshwinds Integrated medicine department.
The post holder's primary responsibility is to help co-ordinate and conduct the study, but also assist in other research activities. Candidates should have a good understanding of research methods and experience of research in health and social care. A strong initiative and good teamwork skill with the ability to carry out their duties independently with limited direct supervision is essential.
