Thomas Lynch, Chair

Thomas Lynch became a trustee and Chair of The Prince’s Foundation for Integrated Health in November 2006.
He is the Chair and major shareholder of Amarin Corporation plc, an emerging biotech pharmaceutical company specialising in neurological diseases. He is also a director of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. He's a non-executive director of ICON plc, a clinical research company; IDA Ireland (an agency of the Irish government responsible for inward investment); Profectus Biosciences, Inc. (which develops preventative and therapeutic technologies intended to reduce the morbidity and mortality caused by viral disease); and Tripep AB (a Swedish company conducting research in AIDS/HIV and hepatitis).
He is also a member of the International Committee of the Kennedy Center, Washington, DC, and serves as Chair of the board of the Queen’s University of Belfast Foundation.

David Brownlow

David Brownlow is Chief Executive of Huntswood, the professional services firm specialising in advising the financial services industry on regulation, compliance and risk. It also supplies specialist resources to assist companies with their customer services. David also owns, with his partner, two specialist recruitment businesses, Woodhurst and Walgrove.
In addition to being CEO of Huntswood, David is a member of the financial services industry's Cornhill Club. He is also a Patron of The Prince of Wales Hospice, a Patron of the NSPCC Full Stop Campaign, and with a keen interest in ballet is a sponsor of the Royal Ballet Company. David is a member of the Royal Opera House Foundation’s Development Committee. He also enjoys watching horse racing and is a member of the Reform Club.

Nigel Clarke

Nigel Clarke is senior partner of Learned Lion Partners. He is a director of Vidapulse Ltd, Really Easy Ltd, Newscounter Ltd and Advanced Transport Systems Ltd. He has worked on the interfaces of public policy for 25 years. He has been chair of the General Osteopathic Council since May 2001, having been a lay member since it was formed. He is now a member of the Council for Healthcare Regulatory Excellence.

Dr Michael Dixon OBE

Michael Dixon has been a GP in Cullompton Devon for 24 years and Chair of NHS Alliance (representing primary care, PCTs and practice based commissioners). He is currently Practice Based Commissioning lead on Lord Darzi's Primary Care Strategy Board and is chair of the National Life Check Board. He sits on the National Leadership Network for Health and Social Care, the Medical Leaders Professional Council, the Practice Based Commissioning Implementation Board, the Cancer Reform Strategy Group and the National Primary Care Forum.
Other appointments include Senior Associate of the King's Fund, Honorary Senior Fellow in Public Policy (HSMC Birmingham), Visiting Professor (University of Westminster, Integrated School of Health) and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Integrated Health at the Peninsula Medical School.

Simon Fielding OBE

Simon Fielding originally trained as an osteopath and was the principal architect of the Osteopaths Act 1993. He was the first chairman of the General Osteopathic Council and has been the Department of Health's special adviser on complementary medicine since 1993. He is also a trustee of Demelza House Children's Hospice.

Nicholas Gold

Nicholas Gold is Managing Director at ING Investment Bank. He previously trained at Touche Ross & Co. and then practised as a solicitor at Freshfields. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is also a council member of RADA and is chair of their Finance and General Purposes Committee.

Professor Stephen Holgate

Professor Stephen Holgate is MRC clinical professor of immunopharmacology at the University of Southampton. He is a member of several government committees, and a past member of the NHS Central Research & Development Committee. The House of Lords Select Committee on Science and Technology enquiry into complementary and alternative medicine 2000 - 2001 used him as an advisor. He is currently a member of The Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution, Chairman of The Science Council's Science in Health Group and Chairman of the Medical Research Council's Physiological Systems and Clinical Sciences Board.

Michael McIntyre is a herbalist trained in western herbalism, traditional Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture. Formerly president of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists, he currently chairs the European Herbal and Traditional Medicine Practitioners Association.

Professor Michael Pittilo

Michael Pittilo is the principal of Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. His career in higher education has also included being the Dean at the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at Kingston University and St. George's Hospital Medical school; Dean with responsibility for Multi-professional Education and Training, and Dean with responsibility for post-graduate taught courses, both at St. George's; and appointments abroad. He is a fellow of many organisations including the Institute of Biology, the Royal Society of Health and the Royal Society of Medicine, and is a writer, researcher and speaker on healthcare issues

Professor Jane Plant CBE

Professor Jane Plant is Anglo American Professor of Geochemistry at Imperial College, London. She presently chairs the Government's Advisory Committee on Hazardous Substances and is a member of the Chemical Stakeholder Forum. She is vice president of the All Party Parliamentary and Scientific Committee. Until 2005 she was Chief Scientist of the British Geological Survey where she and her staff carried out studies into the links between human health and the environment including problems caused by arsenical water supplies in Bangladesh and by selenium deficiency in crops in parts of China. She has published widely on links between human health and chemicals in the environment.

June Sebley is Director of Development at Henley Management College. June began her career with GE(USA) in the Europe, Middle East and Africa division working with the senior executive team on the development of the UK subsidiary network. During her time at Henley she has worked on MBA and corporate senior management programmes and was Director of the Henley Partnership, a best practice network for senior executives and CEOs. June spends much of her time with blue chip organisations identifying management needs and key areas for research initiatives.

Robert Wilson is Chairman of Nelsons, Britain's largest producer of natural medicine. He has spent the majority of his working life involved in the world of complementary and alternative medicine. He is Chairman of BHMA (British Homeopathic Manufacturers Association) in the UK and a board member of ECHAMP, the European Coalition for Homeopathic and Anthroposophic Medicine and Products. Robert is also a Trustee of the Scottish Civic Trust and of Prostate Scotland. He is Chairman of the Barcapel Foundation and a governor of Kilgraston School.
