Dr Michael Dixon, OBE, Medical Director

Michael Dixon has been a GP in Cullompton Devon for 24 years and Chair of NHS Alliance (representing primary care, PCTs and practice based commissioners). He is currently Practice Based Commissioning lead on Lord Darzi's Primary Care Strategy Board and is chair of the National Life Check Board. He sits on the National Leadership Network for Health and Social Care, the Medical Leaders Professional Council, the Practice Based Commissioning Implementation Board, the Cancer Reform Strategy Group and the National Primary Care Forum.
Other appointments include Senior Associate of the King's Fund, Honorary Senior Fellow in Public Policy (HSMC Birmingham), Visiting Professor (University of Westminster, Integrated School of Health) and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Integrated Health at the Peninsula Medical School.

Boo Armstrong, Head of Integration and Development

Boo Armstrong is the founder and director of Get Well UK, which campaigns for better access to quality assured complementary therapies.
She is a trustee of the British School of Osteopathy, a member of the National Clinical Audit Advisory Group and an advisor to Women’s Parliamentary Radio.
Best known for leading a successful, large scale project in Northern Ireland which demonstrated that patient outcomes were improved by integrating selected complementary therapies with conventional treatment, she will focus on developing better links between complementary practitioners, practising clinicians and NHS policy makers.

Linda Leung, Operations Director

Linda has a unique mix of investment banking and international development experience.Prior to joining FIH, Linda was Head of Secretariat for the UK National Commission for UNESCO, having set up the Secretariat and its operations in 2004. The Commission is the focal point in the UK for UNESCO policies in education, culture, science and communications.Prior to joining the non-profit sector, Linda was an investment banker with working experience in Asia Pacific, Southeast Asia, London and New York.Linda is an Executive Committee member of the United Nations Association London and Southeast Region, and editor of its triennial newsletter.
